The Dennis Severs' House Keepsake
£12.00
Each Keepsake is both a unique greetings card and a small work of art: a square, hand-folded parcel that opens layer by layer to reveal illustrations, details, and messages within. Write your message in the centre, fold and either keep for yourself or give to someone deserving.
Each pack comes with two paper keepsakes, a practice sheet and instructions. The paper sheets measure 160mm x160mm. The designs are printed on traditional laid paper.
This Design
Dennis Severs came to Spitalfields in 1979 and purchased 18 Folgate Sreet. He reconfigured it to tell the story of an imaginary Huguenot family who had lived there since it was built in 1724.
This Keepsake contains a selection of the treasures buried in each room of the house. From colanders to pineapples - as much as possible has been carefully illustrated into the folds of the paper.
The outside folds show details from the front door and shutters and then when you open the pocket size packet of paper you will find objects from within the house such as egg cups and caps.
A design to capture the feeling of discovering all the hidden items in each room setting.
Your order will be packed by hand and dispatched via Royal Mail within 1-2 working days.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. All items must be unused and returned in their original packaging.
